May was a busy month for G5! Between the refit and the boat show, there’s much to be excited about aboard G5.

May Works:

  • New vinyl flooring throughout

  • New painted tables for interior and exterior installed

  • Final checklist for relocation of vessel

  • Prepped boat for boat show

  • Fully detailed

  • Sem coat all teak decks

  • Batteries failed, installed 6 new house DC batteries AGM long life

  • Installed new float switch to forward gray sump pump

  • Installed new bilge pump in forward cabin

  • Cleaned and prepped all linen, towels, dishes, cleaning supplies, etc

  • New day bed cover for living room cushion (stays in state cabin closet)

  • Replaced front thruster control relay

  • Replaced trash cans and other supplies

  • Refueled with ¾ tank of fuel

What is to come in June:

  • Repair stainless rear gate

  • Dock mate to be serviced for anchor control

  • Ice machine relay (we propose a new one for $2500 as parts have taken well over a year, we can sell the old parts)

  • Upgrade to Starlink ($4,000)

  • Final prep for Whitsundays
